Eisbären

25 March i visited an Icehockey match from the Berliner Eisbären against the Köllner Haien. It was a spectaculair event with a lot of show and fighting on the ice. It was a nice match which we won with 3 to 1. But it is not the exciting experience of the match why i want to post this on my blog. I visited the match together with my friends Albert and Vilas. It was a birthday and a farewell gift to Vilas. He is from India and he was no longer allowed to stay in Berlin. That sucks.
He is such a hard working, nice, friendly and canty guy. He really wanted to stay in Berlin but he is not allowed because he hasn’t got a European passport. It feels so unfair that i can go everywhere and he doesn’t. It was inspiring to meet Vilas because he is almost the same age as me but has a complete different view of life. He always thinks about what is good for his family and wants to build up a Karma for his next life. I feel so selfish and individual compared to him.
Anyway the day at the Eisbären was great and sad at the same time. Every time we laughed together we felt that it was one of the last times here in Berlin. I hope i can go and visit Vilas in India next januari.
